British Shorthairs are the most beautiful breed of cats I've ever seen. They have beautiful eyes, round faces, and come in every unique color out there. Marigold, her and Iroh's daughters, Mlawa and Mrozy, Watson's son and daughter, Sherwin and Violet, and now Daichi, are our perfect, purebred British Shorthairs here at Nevada Rain. All are SBT, fully registered British Shorthairs, with TICA.
Kuvo and Iroh, and now Watson too, are owned by Knightmyst British Shorthair, and have been added to the bottom of this page as they are the fathers of several of our English Muffins. Iroh is the father of Gidget, Poppy, Finnegan, and Feather, as well as Mlawa and Mrozy. Kuvo is the father of Dove, Zaini, and Poker Face. Kuvo is also the grandfather of Sherwin and Violet.

Violet (Vi for short)
Vi and her brother, Sherwin, are wonderful additions to Nevada Rain's purebred British Shorthairs. They are very special. Vi is a lilac golden shaded (cy 11) just like her dad, but she carries one copy of the cinnamon gene from her mom. She's exactly what I've been looking for. We have her dna results from Optimal Selection and you can see them below, like we do with all of our future or current breeding cats. Vi is the daughter of Watson and her mother is the daughter of Marigold and Kuvo (owned by Knightmyst British Shorthair and Kuvo's picture can be seen near the bottom of this page). Vi is the sweetest kitty and loves to be snuggled and scratched under her cheeks and chin. We are just in love with her. She is TICA registered (SBT, purebred British Shorthair). Violet and Edmond have the most adorable litter now (4/2/2024).

Marigold
Marigold is our black golden spotted, shaded (ny 11, 24) purebred British Shorthair lady. She arrived at Nevada Rain at the close of 2020 from the other side of the world and we have big plans for Marigold. She has many European champions on her pedigree and is registered with TICA as well. She will mother some English Muffin litters out of Hughie and their kittens will be 93.75% British Shorthair and each of their kittens will have a 50% chance of being short-legged. Marigold is absolutely the sweetest thing around. She is the first at my feet and LOVES playing with the kids. The instant you lay your hands on her, she's purring. She's exactly the personality we want in our English Muffins and our purebred British Shorthairs. Marigold's DNA results are above. She was clear/clear for all disorders and is so purrrfect!!

Mrozy- Bimetallic (both golden and silver shaded)

Mrozy is absolutely PERFECT!! She is short-haired. She is a purebred British droplet of perfection and is TICA registered. She is black golden and silver shaded, bimetallic chinchilla and she also has the most beautiful coat I've ever seen. All I can say about her is WOW!! She's got gorgeous aquamarine eyes, a wonderfully unique coat, and she's sweeter than honey. We are excited about Mrozy's future here at Nevada Rain. She and her sister, Mlawa, are our very first home-raised purebred British Shorthair KEEPERS!! Love her!

Mlawa- silver chinchilla

Mlawa is a gorgeous black golden tipped chinchilla (ny12), British beauty. She is a purebred British Shorthair with amazing eyes! Her mother, my black golden Marigold, is originally from Ukraine and her father, the silver shaded handsome fellow Iroh, is from Poland (both cats along with their genetic results can be found on my Purebred British Shorthair page along with information about Mrozy, Mlawa's sister). We are so excited about the kittens these two wonderful cats have produced. She is cleared by parentage for 50+ genetic disorders and she carries black golden and has a 75% chance of carrying colorpoint. Mlawa has an absolutely amazing personality as well. She's always at my feet and loves to be played with and loved on. She makes me smile. :)

Sherwin
Sherwin is possibly a future king at Nevada Rain. He arrived in the fall of 2022 and he is lilac golden shaded (cy 11) like his dad, Watson, farther down on this page, BUT he carries cinnamon. He is so handsome and so playful and is ALL BOY. We've got his dna tests which can be accessed by clicking on the gray button below. He is clear for all disorders and carries colorpoint, chocolate, cinnamon, and two copies of dilute. Sherwin carries a lot of potential colors in his bag of tricks. Sherwin is TICA registered and is a purebred British Shorthair from champion European lines. Sherwin is now at My Divine Feline and may become a shared king who travels back and forth from Nevada to Utah. He's a pretty special guy!

Watson
Watsonis our purebred British Shorthair king. He is a rare lilac golden shaded (cy 11), purebred British Shorthair, originally from Russia. He is magnificent!! We had Optimal Selection complete Watson's dna. You can access his perfect results below by clicking on the black button. Watson is TICA registered. Watson had a busy first year at Nevada Rain and we are holding one of his purebred sons and a daughter here at Nevada Rain (see Vi and Sherwin above). They are both lilac golden shaded and both carry cinnamon. Watson is also the father of Wisp, Paxton and Clementine on our English Muffin Kings and Queens pages and the grandfather of Metalli. They are so sweet and absolutely magnificent. They might be the sweetest cats I've ever raised. They are perfect, from genetics to disposition, and then there is the fact that they are absolutely beautiful and adorable at the same time.

Daichi
Our Newest Purebred British Shorthair King
Daichi recently came to us from a kind man in New York named George. George imported Daichi from Russia (they are the ones who took the pictures above with the white background, Golden Crystal) about 5 years ago and was so kind to trust us with him. We got Daichi's dna results back from Optimal Selection and they are PERFECT and you can view them by clicking on the button below. He's absolutely the most handsome British Shorthair I've ever seen. He has such a wonderfully round, grumpy, but so sweet face. He is going to father some perfectly CHONKY English Muffin babies here at Nevada Rain. He is great to look at, but his most valuable and awesome quality is his fabulously sweet and loving personality. He's only just arrived at Nevada Rain, but he's already purring like crazy when I lay a hand on him and he's leaning in for some love. We are so in love with him already.

Iroh is the father of Feather, Poppy and Gidget on our English Muffin Queens page, Mrozy and Mlawa on this page, and Finnegan, on our English Muffin Kings page. He is a black silver shaded (ns 11) purebred British Shorthair that originally came from Poland. He comes from champion European lines and has the most amazingly sweet personality. I imported Iroh from Poland and now he is owned by Pia and her family at Knightmysty British Shorthair in Arizona. He has THE MOST beautiful eyes, a perfectly round face and small rounded ears, and is all that defines British Shorthairs. He's just amazing ALL AROUND! His perfect genetic results, in the pdf file below, just add to all the perfection of this gentlecat.

Kuvo is a solid cinnamon, TICA registered, purebred British Shorthair, originally from the Ukraine. He has fathered many beautiful kittens here at Nevada Rain. He is the father of the English Muffin Queens Dove and Zaini (75% British Shorthair, standard munchkin), on our English Muffin Queens page, and Poker Face (50% British Shorthair, standard munchkin). Kuvo is big and beautiful and his kittens are just amazing Kuvo is the grandsire of Violet and Sherwin.
