**Ellie and Edmond's beautiful litter arrived on the night of December 23rd. WOW! What a litter!!! There are black kittens, a calico, a silver and two red males. We won't know about eye color for a bit, but this litter is just gorgeous and colorful!

Munchkins/Standard English Muffins
If you are on the list below, you will have first right of refusal of each kitten we add to this page. I note your preference, but those on this list will be notified and given the first chance to reserve each kitten we produce. I don't allow reservations in a specific litter, but instead start at the top of this list each time I'm adding kittens to this page and work my way down. If I don't hear from you within a day of texting, I will text again and then move down to the next person. If you are busy and can't check the kittens out immediately, just shoot me a quick text to tell me that and I will make sure I'm letting you know about kittens that fit your description of what you're looking for.

Heaven (Boo-1), Elizabeth (white munchkin-2), Zexin (male-3), Hayley, Toni, and Christine C. have decided to hold off on choosing a kitten until a later date, but will still remain on our standby reservations list here (updated 2/5/23).
Each person on the above reservations list has placed a $300 non-refundable deposit. If you'd like to reserve more than one standard English Muffin or munchkin, you'll need to place an additional $300 deposit for each choice of one kitten. If you have a deposit placed for a munchkin and would like a second non-dwarf/long legged kitten, please just let me know you'd like to request this, a deposit might not be required for an additional non-dwarf kitten. Deposits are listed in the order in which they were received, and those received earliest are closer to first choice.
***Important*** If you are on my reservations list, please make sure I always have a way to reach you. If I repeatedly contact you with no reply, you will be removed from the reservations list, and/or you will miss out on the kitten you're looking for. I'd appreciate a response within a few hours if I offer you a kitten, even if your response is that you're not sure yet or you want more information. No response could result in my marking the kitten as available and that kitten is reserved by someone else.
Pet Prices
Standard English Muffins (standard munchkins): $2750+
Non-Standard English Muffins: $1000-$2200
Purebred British Shorthairs: $2500-$5000

Kitten prices are determined by how rare the combination of traits and colors are for a specific kitten as well as percentage of British Shorthair.

Expected Litters
- Poppy and Daichi expect a litter in mid-February. All will be silver tabbies and silver shaded kittens and they will be 75% British Shorthair.
- Clementine and William expect a small litter in early March. This litter of two or three kittens can be blue silver, blue silver mink (which I've never seen), blue smoke and blue smoke mink (and I don't know that this color even exists, lol) AND solid white with varying eye colors. These kittens will be 68.75% British Shorthair.
- Minkie and Dickens expect a very small litter of possibly only two kittens, the end of February. THIS IS HUGE!! This is our first possible litter with Shimmery English Muffins. This litter will be 50% British Shorthair and the kittens in this litter can be red golden, red tabby, red mink, red flame point, black and red golden, tabby, mink, and/or flame point and black golden, seal golden mink and seal golden lynx and each kitten has a 25% chance of showing glitter or shimmering. Cider is a very lightly shaded black golden, non-dwarf, DBE English Muffin WITH GORGEOUS BLUE EYES. Cider is truly such a beautiful, sweet, little perfectly golden shaded boy. Cider is Dominant Blue Eyed, or DBE, both of his eyes are blue. He is a very handsome black golden shaded guy, and he loves affection and is one fun loving guy!!

Ellie X Edmond Litter
DOB- 12/23/24
This is Ellie's first litter. She is absolutely amazing. She is a great mother and had an absolutely perfect litter! This litter of six, four shorties and two non-dwarfs, is so adorable and has a diverse array of colors, from red silver shaded, to black. These kittens can be Dominant Blue Eyed or Odd-eyed and all of them will have spectacular personalities. Ellie is one of the neatest overall cats we've ever had. Each kitten in this litter has a 25% chance of being long haired. This litter is owned by my youngest daughter, Laura, and she is learning to take pictures so, please join me in supporting her. All of the pictures of this litter will be taken by Laura and she has decided to name this litter after characters on A Bug's Life movie. These kittens will all be amazingly loving because of the tender care Laura gives them.
Dot: This little lady is one we were hoping for. She is a dwarf English Muffin who is over 50% British Shorthair and she can be dominant blue eyed or odd-eyed. I'm not yet sure of this as her lighter chin and chest, might just be a smokey patch or it could be a white patch that would mean she is Dominant Blue Eyed, only time will tell. Dot's eyes currently reflect red, which could mean she is dominant blue eyed or odd-eyed. She also has a tiny dot of white hair on her chest, and white hair is necessary for DBE kittens because the white spotting gene is what causes the blue eyes.

Francis: This guy is CEEEEEUUUUUUTE!!! He is a dwarf English Muffin and he is such a great color. He's also got an extremely adorable little face, with natural eyeliner and a black little nose and toe beans. Francis might be DBE or OE as his eyes reflect red in my phone camera. He also appears to be long haired, but we won't be sure of his eye color or coat length for a bit longer.

Young Adults or Retired Breeders

We are retiring a group of cats the end of 2023. Retired English Muffins will range in age from two years old to five years old, so they would all classify as young adults. These adults would be priced drastically less than an English Muffin kitten and will be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming. Adult cats take longer than kittens to settle in to a new home and need patience and understanding while they grow accustomed to their new home and new family.
*Nevada Rain reserves the right to first choice of any kitten in any litter we produce at any time during his or her development. Please be understanding if we decide to place a kitten on breeder's hold, but feel free to inquire about kittens you see on breeder's hold as that kitten may become available. Kittens we keep here will need to be dna tested and blood type tested to ensure they're absolutely PURfect to mother and father future Nevada Rain Kitties.
