What's up in the nursery?
***Capulet and William had a gorgeous litter on June 30th. We are looking at keeping kittens from this litter. There are two white shorty girls in this litter that both might be staying here. Neither appears to be odd eyed, but so cute, and one even carries glitter.
***Sapphire and Dickens' litter arrived on June 15th. It is a gorgeous litter that looks like there are no DBE or DBOE kittens in the litter. Stan is available now. He is a red and white shorty English Muffin male.
***Mlawa and Dickens' litter arrived May 15th. This is one of my favorite crosses ever. We are keeping Dorado from this litter. They are 75% British Shorthair, mega sweet, and GORGEOUS!!
***Ellie and Harry's litter arrived on March 27, 2026. This litter will be over 75% British Shorthair. We can get a wide variety of colors in this litter and both parents have exceptional personalities.

If you'd like to reserve more than one standard English Muffin or munchkin, you'll need to place an additional $300 deposit for each choice of one kitten. If you have a deposit placed for a munchkin and would like a second non-dwarf/long legged kitten, please just let me know you'd like to request this, a deposit might not be required for an additional non-dwarf kitten. Deposits are listed in the order in which they were received, and those received earliest are closer to first choice.

This litter is my daughter, Laura's litter. She is learning how to build a website and also has created all of the ads for her kittens, below. She does an excellent job raising social, loving kittens. Harry's older litter is SO SWEET and those that are in their new homes are such happy little campers. We are keeping one of Harry's sons and we are so excited about him. He is mellow, bright, and loving. You can see him on our Shimmery English Muffins page. Pretzel is a blue, cream and white calico female. She is a non-dwarf and is always snuggling with her mom, Ellie, and loves to play. Pretzel is good for endless hours of entertainment. She is very social and plays so hard. She is so smart and so much fun!

Argento has that cob-shaped body that we like and his coat color is just to die for. If you have the time, go to our Purebred British Shorthairs page to see his mom, Mlawa, and his grandfather, Iroh, and you will agree that silver tipped tabbies are the most magnificent cats you'll ever see. We collected dna from Argento and we are considering keeping him. Argento will grow up to have those British Shorthair features we love. Those features include that nice round face, natural eyeliner, fabulous, plush, and unexplainably soft coat, and that irresistible urge to play, which is linked to their extreme hunting instincts. Argento has a magnificent head shape and ear set. His eyes are also phenomenal. Silver tippies have natural black eyeliner that really makes their eyes pop. He has almond-shaped eyes as well and I think they are going to be aquamarine, like his grandpa, Iroh. Silver tippies also have black around their noses, on their lips, and if they aren't mitted, have little black toe beans. Argento is mitted.
Argento's dna results are back and he does not carry glitter. Otherwise his dna results were perfect.

This is an exciting litter that has produced two white shorty females that can carry glitter. We have not yet produced a white kitten that carries glitter and we are hoping there is one in this litter. If so, she will be staying here at Nevada Rain and will become part of our Shimmery English Muffin Program.
Cartier is a solid white, 50% British Shorthair, shorty English Muffin female. She is Capulet and William's daughter. William is our white, odd eyed, English Muffin king and about half of his kittens are white. The kittens in this litter that received the white gene from William will mask their genetic color. In Cartier's case, her genetic color is blue silver tabby, but because she got the white gene from William, that color is masked. Cartier carries glitter, two copies of dilute, and chocolate. A glitter expressing, white kitten, would shine like a diamond. That's why we named this little gal, Cartier, like the diamond company. Cartier also has EXTREMELY soft fur and this, I believe, is a result of carrying glitter. She also has a shiny coat that is much shinier than her sister, Tiffany's coat. A glitter expressing WHITE kitten, carrying two copies of glitter, will be absolutely spectacular. Hopefully we'll see one or two with our own eyes by the end of 2027. Cartier does not carry sepia or Burmese colorpoint, from William. Her dna test results from Optimal Selection can be viewed by clicking on the button below. Cartier appears to have either green or gold eyes. She could have blue, odd (one blue and one green or gold) or gold or green eyes. SHE CARRIES GLITTER!!! We've got our first little diamond in the rough!!

Lady Clemintine is the most precious little angel on the planet!! Look at her!!! She is a stunning lilac golden shaded lynx that carries cinnamon and long hair. She's the most perfect little angel! I have loved watching her grow. She has a happy little tail dance just like her mama, Peeka. Clementine's amazingly perfect Optimal Selection results can be accessed by clicking on the button above. Oliver is our very first homegrown glitter carrying English Muffin king. He is such an adorable boy with a fabulously confident, playful, and sweet personality. He is a seal marbled snow lynx who carries chocolate or cinnamon, one copy of glitter, two copies of siamese colorpoint, and can also carry dilute. His dad is my favorite English Muffin boy, Paxton, and his mom is a glitter expressing super model whose name is Glitter. Both parents are genetically tested and clear for all disorders. Oliver will not be dna tested because we know he is clear for all disorders and he carries glitter and we will have to dna test his offspring in the future. Oliver is such a handsome, playful, silly boy that is so sweet and social. Veta and Oliver produced KiraKira in their early 2026 litter.
