What's up in the nursery?
**Poppy and Daichi's litter arrived on February 15th. This small litter has all silver marbled kittens. They are so gorgeous! Only one kitten in the litter is a shorty. All will be short haired and all are 75% British Shorthair. This is an unplanned litter, but WOW is it beautiful!!
**William's first litter has arrived! Clementine has the most beautiful trio of kitties that arrived on March 4th. There are two blue silver non-dwarf kittens and one white shorty English Muffin in this litter. They are beautiful, strong kittens and we are excited to watch them grow. Clementine is a real sweetheart and is an excellent mom. William is also such a gentlecat who loves affection and is a playful, silly boy.

2025 Reservations:
Munchkins/Standard English Muffins
If you are on the list below, you will have first right of refusal of each kitten we add to this page. I note your preference, but those on this list will be notified and given the first chance to reserve each kitten we produce. I don't allow reservations in a specific litter, but instead start at the top of this list each time I'm adding kittens to this page and work my way down. If I don't hear from you within a day of texting, I will text again and then move down to the next person. If you are busy and can't check the kittens out immediately, just shoot me a quick text to tell me that and I will make sure I'm letting you know about kittens that fit your description of what you're looking for.

**2nd choice goes to Ariana for a munchkin (pref. cream or fawn in early 2025)
**3rd choice goes to Brittany for a DBE or OE male English Muffin
**4th choice goes to Shallan (Yae) for a black and red calico English Muffin girl (450).

Heaven (Boo-1), Elizabeth (white munchkin-2), Zexin (male-3), Hayley, Toni, and Christine C. have decided to hold off on choosing a kitten until a later date, but will still remain on our standby reservations list here (updated 2/5/23).
Each person on the above reservations list has placed a $300 non-refundable deposit. If you'd like to reserve more than one standard English Muffin or munchkin, you'll need to place an additional $300 deposit for each choice of one kitten. If you have a deposit placed for a munchkin and would like a second non-dwarf/long legged kitten, please just let me know you'd like to request this, a deposit might not be required for an additional non-dwarf kitten. Deposits are listed in the order in which they were received, and those received earliest are closer to first choice.
***Important*** If you are on my reservations list, please make sure I always have a way to reach you. If I repeatedly contact you with no reply, you will be removed from the reservations list, and/or you will miss out on the kitten you're looking for. I'd appreciate a response within a few hours if I offer you a kitten, even if your response is that you're not sure yet or you want more information. No response could result in my marking the kitten as available and that kitten is reserved by someone else.

Non-Standard English Muffins: $1000-$2200
Purebred British Shorthairs: $2500-$5000

Kitten prices are determined by how rare the combination of traits and colors are for a specific kitten as well as percentage of British Shorthair.

- Mlawa and Dickens expect a litter in Mid-April. This litter will be 75% British Shorthair and each kitten will have a 50% chance of carrying glitter. We'd like to keep a glitter carrier from this litter. This appeared to be a small litter in the ultrasound and Mlawa tends to have small litters of three kittens. She's had three kittens in both of her previous litters.

Penn is just stunning and oh so sweet. She is a silver marbled, mitted tabby girl who is a non-dwarf English Muffin. She is 75% British Shorthair and she has the most wonderful round face and a beautiful coat. Penn will have a soft, plush coat when she grows up, both parents have wonderful coats. She and the rest of her siblings will all be short-haired.

Pablo is a mover and a shaker. He is a silver marbled tabby boy who is a non-dwarf English Muffin. He is 75% British Shorthair and is playful and fun already. He'll likely grow up to be a big boy, like his daddy. Daichi is around 13 lbs. He'll definitely have a beautiful round face and a plush, fabulous coat when he grows up. He's so handsome now, so I think he'll be stunning as an adult.

Colson is a non-dwarf English Muffin. He has a wonderful coat in one of my favorite and most popular colors, silver tabby, and he will absolutely grow into SUCH a handsome, big fellow who will own your heart. Colson's parents are both variations of dilute, so all of this litter has blue coats, or in Colson's solid white brother's case, his blue is masked by his white. I can't wait to see these kittens as adults. They are going to be so beautiful!

Young Adults or Retired Breeders

We are retiring a group of cats the end of 2023. Retired English Muffins will range in age from two years old to five years old, so they would all classify as young adults. These adults would be priced drastically less than an English Muffin kitten and will be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming. Adult cats take longer than kittens to settle in to a new home and need patience and understanding while they grow accustomed to their new home and new family.
*Nevada Rain reserves the right to first choice of any kitten in any litter we produce at any time during his or her development. Please be understanding if we decide to place a kitten on breeder's hold, but feel free to inquire about kittens you see on breeder's hold as that kitten may become available. Kittens we keep here will need to be dna tested and blood type tested to ensure they're absolutely PURfect to mother and father future Nevada Rain Kitties.
